We used low VOC earth friendly paint and added some
much needed color to the Garland Chamber of Commerce offices. |

Bold colors on bathroom cabinets. |
Here is the shower enclosure.

New set of cabinets that
were primed with oil-based primer, sanded, caulked and painted with
Sherwin-Williams Promar 200 oil-based enamel. |

Den with old style "tongue and groove"
paneling. We sanded this room extensively to remove some old runs in the
paint. We also needed to replace some due to cable for the TV and where
an old cabinet section and intercom was removed. The new wood required
two coats primer brushed on and two coats paint brushed on before we
sprayed to "catch it up" with all the many coats applied over the years.
We also custom made the mantle and installed the crown moulding in this
room. |
Built in Hutch in Breakfast Nook. We
opted to paint a solid color rather than "distress" to make this section
of cabinets stand out more and look more like a piece of furniture than
cabinets. |
Same cabinets, different angle. This bathroom was an
office with a smaller bath in the next room. We demo'd all the sheetrock
and old paneling in both rooms and made the old bath into a large
walk-in closet. Made the office into a large Master Bath. After the
plumbing was "roughed in" we installed a new sub-floor, insulated walls,
framed out new shower walls, sheetrocked walls and ceiling, installed
hardi-backer around shower walls, tiled floor and shower stall, textured
walls and ceilings, and of course, primed new texture and then painted
with Sherwin Williams Promar 200 latex paint in an eggshell finish.

These cabinets are the ones we had to
strip- (see 'Jobs in Progress' BLOG). After stripping we primed and
prepped, then painted with Sherwin Williams Promar 200 oil based enamel.
Then they were "distressed" which is why they look old and beat up.
After that we "antiqued" them which gives them an Old World look. And
finally, they were clear coated with an acrylic urethane to lock in the
antiquing and protect them. |

We faux finished area around and under stairway. |

Bold colors and clean lines like the Red in this Dining
Room make lasting impressions. |
A tall walled Entry and Formal Living Room with great
color choices are a standout when you enter this home. |
Wallpaper removal and custom texture followed by painting
with Sherwin Williams "Sierra Redwood" color made these drab old Kitchen
walls look awesome. |
